Joanna began experimenting with painting and sculpture in 1998. She completed a Diploma of Visual Art in 2003, majoring in painting, and promptly moved to Melbourne to further her art career. She has had work published in a number of publications and has been involved in many exhibitions. In 2003 she completed a 6 month residency as Artist in Residence at Corio Community College, Geelong.
