MOSMAN ART GALLERY ART MARKET
Huge art sale of exciting affordable original art by Australian artists. Demonstrations, tours, auctions. Mosman Art Gallery fundraiser, organised by the Friends of the Mosman Art Gallery.
Hundreds of art works will be for sale at ART MARKET. You’ll be delighted by the huge variety of paintings, photographs, drawings, etchings, works on paper, ceramics and sculpture - everything from realistic to abstract work.
ART MARKET includes works for sale by many well known Australian artists, eg: 2004 Archibald finalist Carolyn McKay, Wynne Prize finalist Judy Lane, as well as exciting original contemporary prints by members of the Warringah Printmakers.
A two hour portrait drawing session by distinguished artist Ann Cape is up for auction at the Mosman Art Gallery ART MARKET. Ann is an outstanding portrait artist who has been a finalist in many prestigious art prizes including the Archibald and Portia Geach. Bids in the silent auction can be placed up to 3pm on Sunday 16 October.
There will be art making demonstrations for visitors to enjoy and free guided tours of the ‘Redlands Westpac Art Prize’. Something for everyone to enjoy!
