Lives and works in The Netherlands
Represented in Australia by Uber Gallery

"Creating ceramics is like writing poetry. My love for literature, poetry and drawing are combined and integrated in my ceramic works. I choose to work with porcelain for its purity and plasticity. I understand my art as a ‘gentle push, a gentle touch, the vessels capture the movement and poetry takes shape in clay’. On this simple vessel form, I emphasise my abstract drawings and paintings. I often rely on tuition to make a mark on the soft clay surface, every line and space are a search within, a composition of poetry, a magical transformation of human emotion." - Yuk-Kan Yeung
