The Revolutionary - Bronze
SOLO EXHIBITION
A solo exhibition of the works of sculptor Andrew Freidin, from Sunday 19th September to Sunday October 10th, 2004. The show will survey over 10 years of his sculptural works in bronze and marble, as well as a number of graphic works in a variety of media, and some recent extraordinary X-ray images of sea shells.Freidin's sculptural work concentrates on the human figure, with a particular emphasis on emotional expression. In many of the pieces, he has drawn inspiration from works of music, both in terms of the themes he is exploring and the titles of the pieces themselves. In addition he has a strong interest in portraiture in which he strongly evinces a capacity to convey the personality of his subjects.
