Francis Bacon is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s most outstanding figurative painters. His work is gutsy, controversial and unforgettable; he created some of the most vibrant and innovative paintings of the 20th century.
The exhibition will present over 50 paintings – many of them monumental in size – and archival material from Bacon's studio, including ephemera and photographs, giving remarkable insight into his life and work.
