Marguerite Duras' The Lover, directed by Greg Carroll, starring Kate Kendall (Stingers), with set design by Peter Corrigan. Set in pre-war Indochina, this 80 min, one-act play tells the story of Duras’ adolescence, recounting family breakdown, madness and her tumultuous affair with an older Chinese man amidst her search for the origins of her passion to write. Presented as part of the exhibition Peter Corrigan: Cities of Hope at RMIT Gallery.
